Selecta, Valio and Tetra Pack launched a new snack vending machine experiment in schools in the greater Helsinki area. The machine goes by the name Valion Minibaari (Valio Minibar) and offers delicious and healthy snacks, like low fat milk products, fruit juices and fruit soups full of vitamins.

It is a Selecta operated snack vending machine decorated with Valio’s Milk Flower design (designed by a young Finnish designer Paola Suhonen).

The vending machine does not replace the school lunch, but during the long school days the snack machine is an excellent way to provide healthy snacks that taste good and keeps the energy level constant.

Headmasters and students were invited to the spectacular launch party and over 700 people attended, with Finnish Idols winners, show dancers and several of the Finnish number one rockstars on stage.

Since the launch, we have received several requests from schools all over Finland. 10 schools have now been picked for the pilot.
