NL, May 2008  | In the Netherlands and Belgium Selecta has just introduced a new mobile phone payment system in cooperation with Crandy / Antenor, which is an international company offering a pre-paid payment system for the telephone! |
The consumer is dialling the number of Crandy witch is mentioned on the Selecta machine.The Selecta machine shows that you are connected and the phone call can be ended without charging any phone costs. A black box in our machines is connecting by GPRS to the Crandy server to get a message for enough credit. This credit is shown in the display of the machine and the customer can make his choice. By a first use of Crandy a consumer will get a welcome gift of € 1,00 credit.To upload the credit of the Crandy M-purse the consumer can transmit money from his own bank account to the M-purse. It is also possible to upload credits by prepaid cards. Each user of Crandy can have a look into his account on the internet My-Crandy by logging in with his GSM number.
