Selecta achieves Silver EcoVadis rating and commits to continued sustainability progress

Selecta Group has been awarded a Silver EcoVadis sustainability rating, placing the business in the top 15% of companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide. The result represents a further improvement on Selecta’s previous three silver assessments and reinforces the company’s commitment to continuous progress across sustainability, responsible business and supply chain practices.

Selecta achieved an overall score of 74/100, placing it in the 85th percentile of companies assessed by EcoVadis. The assessment covers four key areas of corporate sustainability: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.

For Selecta, the rating is not simply a recognition of progress to date. It is part of an ongoing commitment to improving how the business operates, from the products and services it provides to customers through to the way it works with employees, suppliers and partners.

Joël Weber, Group Director of Group Strategy & Project Delivery at Selecta, said:
“Achieving a Silver EcoVadis rating and improving our overall score is something we are proud of. It reflects the work taking place across Selecta and the commitment of our teams to making sustainability part of how we operate every day.

“We also see this as a starting point for the next stage of our journey. Our ambition is to continue strengthening our performance and work towards achieving a Gold EcoVadis rating in our next assessment.

“For our customers, sustainability is increasingly an important part of procurement and workplace decision-making. They need partners who can demonstrate credible progress, responsible practices and transparency across the supply chain. This rating gives our customers further confidence that sustainability is being taken seriously across our business.”

Sustainability that supports customers

Selecta’s sustainability approach spans its operations, supply chain and customer solutions. Through initiatives including responsible sourcing, sustainable coffee programmes, waste reduction, telemetry-enabled operations and more sustainable food and beverage solutions, the business continues to look for practical ways to reduce environmental impact while enhancing the customer and consumer experience.

The EcoVadis assessment provides an independent benchmark against which Selecta can measure its progress and identify areas where further improvements are needed.

With its Silver rating valid until August 2027, Selecta will continue to focus on strengthening its sustainability performance over the coming year.
