We are committed to sourcing products responsibly while having a positive impact on the countries and communities we source from.
WE FOCUS ON BUILDING LONG-TERM RELATIONS WITH FARMERS AND SUPPLIERS:
• 100% of Pelican Rouge coffee from our roaster is certified by 2023
• >2500 farmer families directly supported through the Selecta Coffee fund by 2025
• All suppliers comply with the principles of the Selecta Supplier Code of Conduct by 2025

SELECTA COFFEE FUND
The Selecta Coffee Fund (SCF) contributes to Sustainability initiatives across our value chain, with a focus on the development of coffee farmers, their families and communities in coffee growing areas around the world. Through the Selecta Coffee Fund impact areas, we aim to improve the livelihoods of coffee farmers, foster social equity, and maintain thriving ecosystems.
REPONSIBLE COFFEE SOURCING AT THE PELICAN ROUGE ROASTER
The Pelican Rouge Coffee Roasters roasts about 15,000 tonnes of coffee annually. In 2022, 53% of the coffee roasted by Pelican Rouge was certified by Fairtrade and UTZ / Rainforest Alliance sustainability schemes. In 2023 our goal is to increase the share of certified coffee of Pelican Rouge branded coffee to 100%.
SELECTA SUPPLIER CODE OF CONDUCT
The Supplier Code of Conduct details what suppliers can expect from Selecta, and what we expect from our business partners. To ensure responsible procurement throughout our supply chain we require all of our suppliers to comply with this code which aligns with the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact (UNGC) and the Declaration of Human Rights as well as anti-corruption laws.
